The founder story

I built PMOmentum because the tools didn't exist.

I've been a supply chain PM for years. WMS implementations, 3PL onboardings, integrations, cutovers, the whole thing. I tried every PM tool on the market. None of them understood the work — and the AI copilots were worse.

The moment I knew this had to exist

It was a Friday afternoon in the middle of a WMS go-live. EDI 940 cert had slipped two weeks. The sponsor wanted an honest assessment by end of day, and I was staring at five tools — Jira, Smartsheet, Outlook, OneDrive, and a personal notes app — trying to piece together what was actually true about the project. The status report was due Monday. The Q&A meeting with the steering committee was Tuesday. I had eleven hours of weekend ahead of me, and most of it was going to be moving information around instead of solving the actual problem.

That weekend I realized something obvious in hindsight: every generic PM tool was built for software teams shipping features. None of them knew what an EDI 940 was, or why a SCAC alignment with FedEx was a critical-path item, or what a wave planning configuration even is. And the AI copilots — Copilot, ChatGPT, the rest — would happily summarize a transcript but had no idea that “Roberto” was a FedEx integration architect or that missing a Manhattan hypercare exit milestone has cascading downstream consequences.

What PMOmentum is, in one sentence

PMOmentum is the PM tool I wished I had on every WMS go-live, every 3PL onboarding, every cutover weekend. It's built for the work supply chain PMs actually do — and the AI inside it understands supply chain, not just project management.

Why the AI is different

Generic AI knows what an action item is. It does not know that a Walmart OTIF violation has a $50,000 floor, or that a DSCSA pharmaceutical traceability requirement changes how you design shelf-level RFID, or that 3PL multi-client architecture introduces specific risks for single-tenant DCs. PMOmentum's knowledge layer has 323 curated entries spanning EDI specs, WMS configuration patterns, regulatory frameworks, vendor landscapes, and patterns I've personally seen go wrong on real projects. Every AI call — extraction, status reports, risk identification, sponsor briefings — runs against that corpus.

Why I'm not raising VC money (yet)

I've seen what happens when an industry-specific tool gets “pivoted” toward a horizontal market because the VC wants a bigger TAM. PMOmentum stays narrow on purpose: supply chain project management, sold to people who run supply chain projects. Pricing reflects the value, not a per-seat race to the bottom. I'd rather have ten 3PLs paying real money than ten thousand free users I can't support.

What I owe you, as a customer

Three things. First: honest pushback. If something doesn't work, I'll tell you; if a feature you want would weaken the product for everyone else, I'll explain why. Second: rapid iteration. You email me on Tuesday; the fix ships Friday. That speed is the single biggest advantage a small specialist has over enterprise PM vendors. Third: a tool that gets sharper the longer you use it. Every customer's lessons compound into the corpus that helps every other supply chain PM after them (anonymized, of course).

Try it for 14 days.

Bring in one real project. See where the AI saves you hours.
